Red Rangers are around 2 weeks slower to reach market weight than the Freedom Ranger broilers. This is a cross-bred, slow-growing, red broiler developed with a longer keel, and more of a "country chicken" feel. They have a nice, big, red comb.
This bird is not related to the Freedom Ranger, which originated from the Label Rouge Program in France. These are more of a commercial type meat breed.
Generally, we only have males available.
